  I went for a late lunch yesterday after sometime shopping, I was shocked with several issues during my visit. I ordered a bottle of beer and that's what I got was a bottle of beer.seriously who brings a woman a bottle of beer without a glass. I asked do I not get a glass. He said did you want one? Seriously? I'm not at my corner bar on s Friday night. I'm at what I would call a restaurant at Yorkdale. I almost walked out at that point. We then got our meal, I got a burger and my guest got chicken penne Alfredo , no utensils were on the table. He excused the confusion that the other server put it on the wrong table. He said he was going to get them and then I see him in the next row taking another tables order. Five minutes plus later the utensils show up. Server then came to ask about the food and I said do you not ask whether he wants cheese or black pepper. Wow just kept going down hill. I was surprised for the Yorkdale location. You've got more training to do.

  Terrible service, mediocre food. I love the Moxies chain but this particular restaurant has a a bad vibe to it. They don't clean the tables, the concierge told us to just sit at the table and they will clear it eventually. Mind you they took time to come to our table and clean it and give us the menus. Waitress was horrible! Ignored us until we had to call her! My friend called her and made eye contact and she still walked by twice. You are in an upscale mall. Maybe you should take these reviews seriously. Just saying....

  Ordered the fish tacos and salmon. Salmon was cooked perfectly. We were served during a shift change and there was a smooth handover from one waitress to the other. The fact that they charge you for substitutes like a salad for fries is annoying. The ambiance here is really nice.

  Moxie's does a good job at keeping their food consistent at all their locations. Not much more can be said, you know what you are getting into. White chocolate brownie dessert can also satisfy any sweet tooth cravings!

  The food was okay. But that's not a big deal. My issue is the waiting staff, I understand that you have to be nice and attentive to get a good tip but honestly ladies! I would assume that in your line of business the rule of thumb is you be attentive to all parties at your table. Our waitress last night was very attentive to my husband and made very little effort to assist me. She address only my husband the entire time and at no time asked If there was anything i needed. A refill on my drink would have been nice. At the end of the night she handed my husband the bill with a heart circling the amount. I told my husband that i would take care of the bill to prove a point as I only believe she should have been tipped for serving one person. Young Ladies at moxie.. be smart...you want a big tip be attentive to everyone at your table...please, and on top of that, no women likes watching her husband be flirted with especially when we were celebrating a special occassion. Please be more respectful. And never assume that because a man is at the table he is paying the bill.

  Owers of Moxie!! You are not running a brothel. I understand that sex sells but you are running a family restaurant. Please train your staff with appropriate customer service skill. They don't need to dress or behaving the way our waiting staff did last night to be get a tip. They just need to serve and be polite.
